The Quebec company doubles its revenue in lubricant sales

Groupe Crevier is announcing today the acquisition of assets for the distribution of Chevron Canada Limited lubricant products in Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley and on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. This major acquisition strengthens Groupe Crevier’s position as one of the largest independent companies in the lubricant sector in Canada. Crevier has therefore formed a subsidiary company in Western Canada operating under the name of Catalys Lubricants Inc.

With this new acquisition, Groupe Crevier is doubling its revenue in the sale and distribution of lubricants, and increasing the volume of Chevron products that it distributes by 150%. This purchase signifies our expansion into a seventh Canadian province after Quebec, Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador.

“This new acquisition attests to the success that Crevier has had in distributing Chevron products in Eastern Canada,” explains Pierre Crevier, President of Groupe Crevier. “We owe this accomplishment to our employees’ expertise and to the success of our business approach, which focuses on customer service, attention to detail, profitability and innovation.”

Groupe Crevier is thus solidifying its alliance with Chevron Canada Limited, an alliance it has been developing since the signing of a distribution agreement for Eastern Canada in 2009. In fact, the company was selected among several other competing offers for the purchase of these Chevron Canada Limited lubricant distribution assets.

“This is an exciting time for Groupe Crevier and we are delighted to be embarking at this stage in our expansion with one of the world’s major base oil manufacturers,” states Pierre Crevier. “We are very active in the market in Eastern Canada and are thrilled about the opportunities this breakthrough represents in the Western Canadian market.”

This latest acquisition signals a significant step for Groupe Crevier towards carrying out its corporate vision - to become the Canadian benchmark among independent energy marketers and distributors.
