JOB SUMMARY:

As Director of Human Resources and Culture, you will play a pivotal role in driving Groupe Crevier towards achieving its business goals and fulfilling its strategic mission. You will be responsible for crafting and executing human resources management strategies that empower our team to excel in their roles. From our headquarters in Ville Saint-Laurent to our other divisions located across Canada, you will oversee the daily management of our human resources operations. Moreover, you will have the exciting opportunity to participate in executive and management committees, contributing your valuable insights towards shaping our company's future.

This position reports directly to the President.

TASKS AND ACTIVITIES:

  • Champions the Catalys10 culture and values across the company and integrates them into all human resources practices and policies.
  • Develops and executes strategies to create a positive work environment that promotes employee well-being and growth.
  • Implements innovative talent acquisition and retention initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
  • Oversees employee career development and training programs.
  • Coaches and mentors managers to enhance their leadership and team-building skills;
  • Enhances HR service offerings to provide the best experience for employees.
  • Strategizes workforce planning to ensure optimal staffing levels.
  • Ensures compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Leads change management initiatives and manages their impact on the workforce.
  • Designs and implements competitive compensation and benefits packages;
  • Contributes to the development of human resources management programs and policies for all divisions of the group;
  • Supports the HR team in the successful execution of national projects related to human resources management.

 

SKILLS

Technical:

  • Excellent computer skills: MS Office suite, intermediate level Excel,
  • Knowledge of human resources management systems, knowledge of Ceridian system (an asset).
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws.
  • Strong experience in aligning human resources strategies with business strategies.
  • Experience in implementing and deploying HR platforms.
  • Knowledge of Office Vibe (an asset).

 

Interpersonal:

  • Strong decision-making ability that integrates business issues.
  • Excellent ability to work in a team, interpersonal relationships, and communication at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to act as a coach.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to solve problems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to develop relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple files and priorities at once.
  • Excellent communicator;
  • Excellent judgment, autonomy, initiative, rigor, and professionalism;
  • Dynamism, enthusiasm, and strong team spirit.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial relations or human resources management.
  • Seven to ten years experience in human resources management and able to present significant achievements.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector and Pan-Canadian experience are serious assets.
  • Bilinguisme.
