The Warehouseman is responsible for the day-to-day activities related to the picking of orders and handling of products in all formats of Catalys Lubricants. He/she contributes to the safe operation and efficient operation of the warehouse facilities and equipment.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Warehouseman is responsible for the day-to-day activities related to the picking of orders and handling of products in all formats of Catalys Lubricants. He/she contributes to the safe operation and efficient operation of the warehouse facilities and equipment.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

· Order picking, product placement and retrieval

· Forklift operation

· Interacting with customers for order pickup

· Tote, drum and pail filling

· Subscribe to a culture of continuous improvement through collaboration and effective communication;

· Support and follow all operational policies and procedures

· Contribute to maintaining best operating practices;

· Possess good mechanical aptitude and resolution capabilities;

· Support an effective recycling program;

· Creative and innovative problem solving;

· Other related activities that may be added to the job description as required.

COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Technical skills:

- Forklift certified

- Competent in the use of RF Guns

- Experience with lubricant handling equipment and best practices is an

asset;

- WHMIS trained;

- Good mechanical knowledge and aptitude

- Physically fit

Relational skills:

-Team player who is comfortable working with different personalities and overcoming communication barriers to bring solutions;

- Flexible thought process;

- Willingness to learn.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

A combination of warehousing training and experience

First Aid training and asset

Experience:

Warehousing and Lubricants industry experience is an asset.

Language:

Fluent in English, oral and written
