JOB SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Business Partner must provide advisory and/or functional support to managers and act as a resource person for employees and managers in addition to participating in the implementation of various projects and support management in achieving objectives. Your main role will be to advise on talent acquisition, training, organizational development and occupational health and safety.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

  • Manage management coherence, organizational climate and human resources culture;
  • Deploy the best methods to attract candidates according to their profiles (search in candidate banks, Internet, specialized posting, social networks, etc.);
  • Recruit at the national level (needs assessment, job description, posting, interviews and hiring);
  • Develop the employer brand;
  • Participate in the continuous improvement and/or harmonization of HR programs, policies and procedures;
  • Develop the talent management and development component;
  • Act as a business partner in the identification of workforce issues (skills development, retention and engagemet), the development and implementation of actions required to address operational challenges, and the development of leaders.
  • Coach managers in the management of their HR.
  • Participate in the implementation of change management plans and exercise influence over the various partners;
  • Provide recommendations to encourage employee engagement.
  • Advise managers with regard to HR programs, policies and procedures, compensation, training, employee relations, performance management and succession planning to ensure continuous improvement.

COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS 

Technical and relational skills:       

  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);         
  • Entrepreneurial and innovative spirit;
  • Collaborator and change agent;
  • Ability to manage multiple files and priorities at the same time;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Excellent communicator;                     
  • Excellent judgment, autonomy, initiative, rigor and professionalism;

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS           

Education:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources;

Experience: 5 to 7 years minimum of relevant experience.

(Experience in the manufacturing and/or distribution sector: an important asset);

Language: Fluent in English spoken and written.
