The Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling inquiries for Lubricants and related products. He/she performs a variety of administrative duties including but not limited to utilizing telephone, fax and email and ensuring appropriate follow-up and processing of orders and requests. This position reports directly to the Administration Coordinator of the Division.

Catalys Lubricants Inc., a division of Crevier Group is searching for a Customer Service Representative for its British Columbia operations located at Delta BC.

Description:

  • Answering telephone and electronic inquiries relaying telephone calls and messages;
  • Reception – Greet customers and visitors, ascertain nature of business and direct to the appropriate person or department;
  •  Order receiving and processing via the order entry system;
  • Follow-up ensuring effective order fulfilment;
  • Monitoring of group mailbox - Open and distribute incoming mail (regular and electronic) and co-ordinate the flow of information internally with other departments and organizations;
  • Filing, label printing and invoicing;
  • Providing direction on product support;
  • Assist in staff training as required on various policies and procedures;
  • Use of tracking spreadsheets - compiling data, statistics and other information supporting research activities and product tracking;
  • Provide support to inventory management processes;
  • Relief resource for inventory replenishment coordination;

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

 Technical skills:         

  • Effective customer service skills
  • Competent in use of MS Office and email
  • Above average knowledge of Vancouver, Fraser Valley and Vancouver Island cities and towns
  • Self-starter

 Relational skills: 

  • Desire to work in a team environment
  • Competent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Effective customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working under pressure
  • Organized and able to work independently
  • Sensitive to customer requirements
  • Flexible and attentive to customer requests

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Vocational education in administration or marketing
  • 3-5 years experience as a Customer Service Representative
  • Fluent in English
