SUMMARY 

Oversight and management of the credit department for the Ontario division, the Credit Agent reports directly to the Division General Manager and functionally to the Credit Manager located at the company’s Head Office.

 ACTIVITIES:

  • Maintenance of credit accounts;
  • Approval of orders exceeding established parameters;
  • Reconciliation of client accounts;
  • Account collection;
  • Direct customer interaction;
  • Various clerical duties, such as research, report preparation, filing, etc.;
  • Participation in the end-of-month closing;
  • Close interaction with other staff and departments. 
  • Other related tasks as required;

 
 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Effective knowledge of MS-OFFICE with advanced knowledge of EXCEL.         
  • Ability to work within a team;
  • Detail oriented, excellent ability to analyze and problem-solve;
  • Ability to work several files simultaneously and to prioritize;
  • Good interpersonal, negotiation, communication (spoken and written) and organizational skills;
  • Strong customer service focus;
  • Autonomous, resourceful and proactive;
  • Positive attitude Professional standards.  

    
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:      Vocational education in administration
Experience:     Minimum of 3-5 years within in the Credit field 
Education:      Vocational education in administration
